In the little village of Savoskin, in the middle of the steppe, a mausoleum in memory of the soldiers killed in the region of Rostov during WWII. Stalingrad Battle is one of these terrible battles where so many Russians died. Stalingrad is now Volgograd, 300 Km away from Elista (the Kalmykian capital).
